Abstract

The results of study of the seasonal distribution of the aerosol optical depth (AOD) in the Earth atmosphere near Ussuriysk are given. The wide maximum of AOD is detected during March–July, whereas two minimums of AOD are found in February and September. A possible influence of the meteor shower (dusty traces of comets) on the measured AOD is discussed.
