Abstract

Monitoring of the epidemiological situation of trichinosis in the southern subjects of the Far Eastern Federal District was carried out. Territories with a high risk of morbidity of the population with this helminthiasis have been identified. A general trend towards stabilization of the situation in terms of the incidence of trichinosis has been established. In most cases, the meat of a bear, wild boar, domestic dog and pig served as a factor in the transmission of invasion to the population.
