Study of the soy genome for the presence of genetically modified constructions by real-time PCR. L.E. IVACHENKO, О.N. TARASOVA, N.V. MARTYNENKO, A.A. BLINOVA, S.I. LAVRENT′YEVA (Federal Scientific Center All-Russian Research Institute of Soybeans, Blagoveshchensk).
Qualitative and quantitative analysis of transgenic DNA is based on identification of regulatory sequences of the 35S promoter, NOS terminator and specific genes used in constructs of genetically modified plants. By PCR real-time using the “AmpliSens GM Plant-1-FL” and “Soya/35S + FMV/NOS screening” reagents, the presence of genetically modified constructs in the genome of 46 soybean varieties from the collection of the FSBSI FRC ARSRIS was checked. Genetically modified DNA was not found in the samples examined.
