Numerical modeling in problems of mechanics of multiphase media and ocean dynamics. N.A. LUTSENKO, S.V. SMIRNOV, S.S. FETSOV (Institute of Automation and Control Processes, FEB RAS, Vladivostok).
A brief review of some results obtained in the Laboratory of fluid and gas mechanics of IACP FEB RAS in the last few years in the field of mechanics of multiphase media and ocean dynamics is presented. Research deals with modeling processes in heat accumulators based on granular phase change materials, with the development of theoretical foundations of a new technology for extracting valuable metals from metal-containing media by means of filtration combustion, with modeling of resonant oscillations in natural reservoirs.
