The results of the study of the conditions of formation of the fusion zone of the coating and the base metal during laser processing are presented. The possibility of minimizing thermal deformations during coating deposition on the parts of chemical and food engineering, parts of ship’s equipment are shown. The characteristics of the developed equipment and examples of technology implementation are given.
