Abstract

Groundwater of the Lower Amur River basin and the coast of the Tatar Strait. V.V. KULAKOV (Institute of
Water and Ecological Problems, FEB RAS, Khabarovsk).

Features of formation of resources and qualitative composition of drinking groundwater formed in artesian basins, hydrogeological massifs on the territory of the Lower Amur, as well as in volcanogenic basins of East Sikhote-Alin on the coast of the Tatar Strait, composed by effusive and volcanogenic-sedimentary rocks are considered. Discharge of fresh groundwater is carried out at sea in the coastal and marine zone and with the intensive selection of fresh groundwater at water intakes in settlements salt water intrusions to water intakes are recorded. On the basis of the analysis of hydrogeological regularities the processes of formation of the groundwater qualitative composition in different types of hydrogeological structures of the region are reflected.
