Abstract

The characteristic of the current state of natural vegetation cover on part of western coast of the Tatar Strait is
described, which is based on field research and analysis of remote sensing data from the Earth. It is noted that less than a century of economic use of the territory, there has been a strong transformation and fragmentation of vegetation cover. In connection with the intensification of economic activity in recent years, it is necessary to monitoring the state of the vegetation cover, which will contribute to compliance with environmental legislation and control of the ecological situation on the coast.
