Abstract

The article provides information about the first forecasts of exogenous geological processes during the creation of the Bureya reservoir, including the possibility of the formation of landslides. Attention is drawn to such risk factors as suspended solids and flooded wood in the first years of filling the reservoir; possible risks of destabilization of the reservoir ecosystem under the influence of new inputs of plant residues, rock suspensions and components of explosives (trinitrotoluene). It is proposed to hold an open discussion for the early identification of various environmental risks to the ecosystems of the Bureya reservoir, the Bureya and Amur Rivers after the activities related to the elimination of the consequences of the Bureya landslide.
