Introduction and study the varieties of plums from China.

Abstract

The biological features of introduced plum sorts from China are given. It was found that all varieties are undersized. Varieties Long Vuan Tooli and Mg-lan Haung are very early in terms of fruit ripening, and Long Vuan Mitti, Long Vuan Ginti, Long Vuan Zaoti are early varieties. These varieties are of interest as starting material for breeding plum. The vegetative period of the introduced plum varieties corresponds to the period of vegetation of the Far Eastern varieties and is favorable for successful cultivation in the south of the Primorsky Region. Varieties are recommended for intensive gardens and ecological variety studies.
