Abstract

Mineralization of gold and platinum in the graphite-bearing metamorphic complexes of Primorye was studied by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). It features scattered distribution with localizing as dispersed particles (0.1–60 µm) both in graphite ores and host rocks. Platinum minerals such as native platinum and intermetallic compounds of platinum with tin and lead were firstly established in the stady. The obtained data indicate that the origin of minerals of gold and platinum is related largely to endogenic processes with the participation of deep reduced fluids.
