The results of the studies on the changes of microflora frequency and content, catalase activity, content and reserves of humus and CO2 emission of agro-dark-humus gley soils in the Eastern Galega planting under different methods of surface tillage (harrowing, disking) and normal and enhanced doses of mineral fertilizers are presented. Effective agrotechnical methods of soil treatment have been established, which have a positive effect on the processes of humus accumulation.
