Abstract

A comprehensive study of the γ-NH4Zr(HPO4)(PO4) compound was carried out by XRD, TG- DTA, IR and NMR (1H, 31P, MAS) spectroscopy. The presence of two types of phosphate groups in the structure of γ-NH4Zr(HPO4)(PO4) is confirmed by the observation of characteristic bands in the IR spectra and signals in the MAS 31P NMR spectra. Using IR and NMR spectroscopy, the features of the hydrogen bond in the compound were studied, and the presence of independently occurring diffusion motions of protons and adsorbed water molecules was established. The decomposition process of the compound was studied by the method of differential thermal analysis.
