Abstract

The paper is devoted to the main branches of scientific research of the V.I. Il’ichev Pacific Oceanological Institute of the FEB RAS: complex hydrophysical, hydrochemical and hydrobiological researches, development of new methods and technical means for ocean and atmospheric research, application of remote methods, creation and analysis of oceanological database. The most important results and prospects of research are briefly shown.
