The role of physical factors in increasing the fertility of arable soils in the south of the Far East Region.

Abstract

The article describes the short history of the study of the influence of physical properties of soils on growth and development of crops and increasing the fertility of arable soils in the south of the Far East by the example of the Amur Region and the Primorsky Region. The main areas of arable land are concentrated in these regions. The current physical and ecological states of the soil covers are presented. The results of recent experimental studies on the effect of long-term application of chemicals on the physical properties of the soils are given. Possible ways of optimizing the physical state of arable soils are discussed.
