Abstract

The description of the Solovyev gold mining center of the Amur gold-bearing province is given. The center includes ore-placer nodes of the Yankan and Jeltulak metallogenic zones of the province. Since the beginning of gold mining at the end of the XIX century, about 53 tons of ore gold have been mined here. The ratio of ore and placer gold production, equal to 1:6, indicates significant prospects for the identification of new gold deposits. The prospects of the Solovyev gold mining center are the additional study of the identified manifestations of gold-quartz, gold-sulfide-quartz, gold-polymetallic, as well as gold-mercury (Karlin type) formations.
