Fluoride complexes of gallium(III) with glycine amine acid: synthesis and investigation. R.L. DAVIDOVICH, V.B. LOGVINOVA, E.I. VOIT, E.B. MERKULOV, T.A. KAIDALOVA (Institute of Chemistry, FEB RAS, Vladivostok).
First synthesized and investigated by X-ray analysis, infrared spectroscopy, and thermogravimetry (TG, DTG, DTA) anionic fluoride complexes of gallium(III) with glycine: (GlyH)[GaF4(H2O)2]·0,5H2O (I), (GlyH)(Gly···GlyH) [GaF5(H2O)]·H2O (II), (GlyH)6[GaF5–F–GaF5]·F (III) and (GlyH)3[GaF6] (IV). It was found that synthesized compounds I–IV are isotipic with composition similar to the structurally investigated fluoride complexes of aluminum(III) and indium(III) with amino acids. IR spectroscopy and thermal characteristics of the synthesized compounds were determined.
