The article presents the results of research of processes of laser removal of paints from the surface of metal parts. The characteristic features of surface cleaning by scanning laser radiation are considered. The ways of development of laser method for practical use in technological operations of cleaning surfaces of thin-walled structures of complex geometric shape are outlined. The variant of using pulsed unfocused laser radiation for solving problems of operative cleaning of airframe airframes is proposed.
